2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek Spare Tire
The Subaru XV Crosstrek comes equipped with a temporary compact spare tire commonly known as a "donut" which is smaller than the other regular tires on the vehicle and is meant for emergency use only. The spare tire is located under the cargo area floor in a specially designed compartment. The size of the spare tire differs slightly depending on the model year of the Crosstrek, but usually, it is of size T145/90D16 107M. It's important to note that this spare tire should not be used for long distances or at high speed. This compact spare tire, due to its smaller size and lower air pressure, can negatively affect handling and braking, therefore it should be replaced by a regular tire as soon as possible. Also, Subaru recommends that regardless of its condition, you should replace the compact spare after it has been used for the cumulative distance of 80 km (50 miles) at speeds over 80 km/h (50 mph).
