2024 Land Rover Defender 110 Spare Tire
The Land Rover Defender 110 comes equipped with a full-size spare tire, typically mounted on the rear door for easy access. This spare tire is identical to the standard tires on the vehicle, usually a tire size of 255/70 R18 or 255/70 R16, depending on the model of the Defender 110. The use of a full-size spare tire ensures a consistent driving performance after changing a flat tire, and allows it to last longer than a temporary "donut" spare tire. The use of a tire identical in make and model to the main tires also allows for "tire rotations", which extends the lifespan of all five tires. However, the added weight and size of the spare often results in reduced fuel efficiency.
2024 Land Rover Defender 110 comes with 5 OEM tire size options. Select the original equipment the tire size installed on your vehicle to see all spare tires that have roughly the same tire diameter and can be used as a temporary replacement in the event of a flat tire. Remember that load carrying capacity of the spare tire must be the same or higher than the load carrying capacity of the original equipment tires in order to safely support the weight of your vehicle. Refer to vehicle owner's manual or contact Land Rover dealership to confirm the correct 2024 Land Rover Defender 110 spare tire size.
